Haleigh Humble, a senior at Oakdale High in California, placed second in the girls Division 3 race at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Subsection meet, covering the 3-mile course in 18:53 at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp. Humble helped Oakdale advance to the section championship meet Nov. 13 at the Willow Hills Course in Folsom.
